Founded in 1999 by Isaac Ledesma, Mexico en Danzas Grupo Folklorico (MEDGF) opened its doors to dancers of all age ranges eager to work towards learning and preserving the many Mexican folk traditions. In its trajectory, MEDGF has had the privilege to participate in many community events that included the Fiestas Patrias and Cinco de Mayo celebrations at the Miller Outdoor Theater, the Go Tejano Mariachi Invitational, the Houston Texans Hispanic Heritage celebrations, Fiesta Mart Posada community event among many others. In addition to community performances, MEDGF has also participated in many private events, adding color and rhythm through dance and music.
Our Mission: Preserve and promote Mexican culture and traditions through the art of dance and music.

BIENVENIDOS SEAN TODOS Y TODAS!!!!
Our Registration Kick Off social was a huge success! We want to thank EVERYONE who attended and MARIACHI IMPERIAL DE AMERICA for gracing us with their amazing music and entertainment. It was great to see former MEDGF family members and a pleasure to mingle and meet the newest members to our FAMILIA. We are pleased to announce that we are well over 90+ members strong. Continue to spread the word as Mexico en Danzas Grupo Folklorico is still open for new members.
This week we kick off our first official week of rehearsals. Intermediate and Advanced levels begin classes today, August 3rd at Garage 713 located at 5708 N. Shepherd Suite C-5. Next week our Beginners, Beginner Intermediate and Adult Intro levels begin class Monday, August 7th at Morales Radio Hall, 111 N. Ennis Ste 4.

Tuition & Fees
Registration fees and tuition are as follows:
$35 yearly registration fee
$65/month for first dancer
$20/month additional dancer within same household
